How we compared On 24 Oct 2026 we checked both product pages, store data, refund policies, Rejuran's FAQ, three Amazon listings and PubMed. We compared price per mL, label names and amounts, use, refund and subscription terms, and ratings with counts. Nobody at DermaRatings has used either product.
Price and what you get
Medicube sells one size, a 30 mL bottle at $24.00 on its own store2. Both versions, Salmon DNA PDRN and Rose PDRN (Vegan), cost the same2. That is $24 / 30 = $0.80 per mL. On Amazon the salmon version was $18.90, sold by "Medicube & Aprilskin"4. That is $18.90 / 30 = $0.63 per mL.
Rejuran sells the Turnover Ampoule in two sizes6. The 30 mL bottle costs $52.00, so $52 / 30 = $1.73 per mL. The 50 mL bottle costs $72.00, so $72 / 50 = $1.44 per mL. A subscription takes 12% off6. That makes the 30 mL $45.76 ($1.53 per mL) and the 50 mL $63.36 ($1.27 per mL).
Two catches apply. First, Rejuran's FAQ says each subscription shipment "must meet the free shipping minimum" to ship free8. The banner put that minimum at $505. A subscribed 30 mL at $45.76 falls below it. Second, Amazon had a limited-time deal on the 30 mL at $41.57, which works out to $1.39 per mL9. Deals like that change often.
Rejuran's lowest own-site price is still $1.27 / $0.80 = 1.6 times Medicube's per mL. At full price it is $1.73 / $0.80 = 2.2 times.
Rejuran's Recover c-PDRN Lifting Ampoule costs $129 for 14 vials of 2 mL, or $129 / 28 = $4.61 per mL. It lists "Hydrolyzed DNA (7,000 ppm)" and is sold as "post-treatment care"11.
How each one is used
Medicube says to "apply a generous amount morning and night on clean, dry skin"1. Spread it over face and neck, then use moisturizer, plus sunscreen by day1.
Rejuran says to apply 3 to 5 drops after cleansing and toning5. Massage it into the face, neck and décolletage, avoiding the eyes. It says to use it once or twice a day, and it can also go on the back of the hands5.
Ingredients
Medicube. The page names Salmon DNA PDRN, peptides and niacinamide as key ingredients1. On the list, PDRN appears as Sodium DNA. The salmon version also lists Milt Extract and Salmon Egg Extract1. The Rose PDRN version lists Rosa Damascena Extract instead1. Both list five peptides, including Copper Tripeptide-1, and adenosine1. The pink color comes from Cyanocobalamin, a form of vitamin B121.
One downside: the page does not agree with itself. Its "Formulated without" list names "Acrylates", "EDTA and derivatives", "Ethoxylated Ingredients" and "Fragrances"1. Yet both ingredient lists include Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Glycereth-26 and several acrylate polymers1. If you avoid any of these, go by the ingredient list, not the claims list.
Rejuran. The page calls c-PDRN "a marine-based growth factor"5. On the list it appears as Hydrolyzed DNA, after niacinamide, licorice root extract and sodium hyaluronate5,9. The list also has arbutin and adenosine, and phenoxyethanol and benzyl alcohol as preservatives9. No fragrance is listed9.
The page says "This formula contains the highest level of c-PDRN available"5. That is the brand's own claim, and its site gives no amount to check it against. Rejuran's Amazon listing says "Our patented c-PDRN formula (0.5% concentration)"9. For how to read numbers like that, see our PDRN serum percentage guide.
Subscription, returns and support
Medicube offers no subscription on this product page2. Its refund policy covers only items that arrive damaged or defective: "we can assist with a refund or replacement within 30 days of purchase"3. You email photos to medicube_uscs@apr-in.com. Only orders from medicube.us qualify3. So if you simply do not like the serum, the brand store does not offer a refund. Amazon listed a "FREE 30-day refund/replacement" for its listing4.
Rejuran's store at rejuranusa.com redirects to rejurancosmetics.com, where its policy sits5,7. It offers a refund if your purchase "does not meet your expectations within 30 days of the delivery date"7. But "all returned products must be in new, unopened condition"7. A $10 restocking fee comes off the refund, and so does the cost of the return label7. The fee is waived only for a confirmed defect. Opened products can come back only with proof of an allergic reaction, such as a medical note or photos7. Amazon orders are not covered by that policy, but Amazon showed its own 30-day refund on both Rejuran listings7,9,10.
You change or stop a Rejuran subscription through an online settings link, per its FAQ8. Support is at support@rejuranusa.com5.
What buyers say
Medicube. On Amazon the serum had 4.6 stars from 25,746 ratings, with 83% five-star and 3% one-star4. Amazon's review summary counted 573 mentions of glow (528 positive) and 419 of hydration (399 positive)4. Value was mostly positive, 283 of 373 mentions. Skin irritation drew 243 mentions with mixed views, and some buyers reported breakouts4. Texture split opinion: 142 of 225 mentions called it non-greasy, and 83 did not4.
Rejuran. On Amazon the Turnover Ampoule had 4.5 stars from 1,311 ratings, with 78% five-star and 4% one-star9. Buyers praised hydration, 86 of 90 mentions, and skin texture, 59 of 639. Views were split on effect: 70 of 101 mentions were positive and 31 said it did little9. Value drew 40 positive and 32 negative mentions, and 15 of 35 irritation mentions were negative9. On its own site it showed 4.9 from 437 reviews5. The brand runs that review system.

Safety and regulatory status
Both are sold as cosmetics, not medical devices, and neither page claims FDA approval1,5. Medicube cites a South Korean listing: "Dual functionality for fine lines and brightening (South Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety)"1. It also says the serum is "Dermatologist-tested" and "Tested to be Low-Irritating"1. Those are brand claims.
Rejuran's page cites two studies of its own, both twice a day for 2 weeks5. One was run by the Korea Institute of Dermatological Science with 22 people, on healing after burns and treatments. The other was an in-house study with 1 volunteer5. Our PubMed search for Rejuran did not show them. The Rejuran studies it did show test an injected polynucleotide used in clinics, such as a 2026 trial of 25 women after radiofrequency treatment12. Those results do not apply to a serum. A PubMed search for Medicube found no study of the serum13.
Rejuran's Amazon listing says to stop and see a specialist if red spots, swelling or itching appear, and not to apply it to wounds9. Medicube's salmon version and Rejuran's ampoule are salmon-based, so ask a doctor first if you have a fish allergy1,9. See a dermatologist first if you are pregnant or treating a skin condition.
Verdict
Pick Medicube if price per mL matters most, or you want a vegan PDRN version. At $0.80 per mL, it costs less than half of Rejuran at full price2,6. Its downsides are refunds for damaged items only and a "formulated without" list that clashes with its ingredients1,3.
Pick Rejuran if you want a refund option on an unopened bottle, an ingredient list with no fragrance, or a subscription. Expect to pay $1.27 to $1.73 per mL on its own site, and a $10 fee on any refund6,7. Its "highest level" claim has no number on its own site to back it5.

Frequently asked questions
Are Rejuran and PDRN the same?
No. Rejuran is a brand. PDRN is an ingredient made of DNA fragments, often from salmon. Rejuran calls its version c-PDRN, and its ingredient list names it Hydrolyzed DNA. Medicube lists its PDRN as Sodium DNA. The name Rejuran is also used for a polynucleotide injected in clinics, which is not the same thing as a serum. Our guide to PDRN serum percentages explains the label names.
Is medicube pdrn actually effective?
We cannot say. Medicube's page claims "visible improvements in as little as two weeks" and says the serum is dermatologist-tested and low-irritating. Those are the brand's own claims. A PubMed search for Medicube on 24 Oct 2026 found no study of the serum. On Amazon it had 4.6 stars from 25,746 ratings, which shows buyers like it, not that it works.
What is the best PDRN serum on the market?
We do not rank PDRN serums. No study we found compares serums with each other, and most brands do not publish how much PDRN they use. What you can compare is price per mL, what the label names, any stated amount and the refund terms. Our PDRN serum percentage guide lists several serums side by side with those facts.
Is Rejuran PDRN worth it?
That depends on your budget. On 24 Oct 2026 the Turnover Ampoule cost $52 for 30 mL, or $1.73 per mL, against $0.80 per mL for Medicube on its own site. Rejuran offers a 30-day refund, but only for unopened products and minus a $10 restocking fee. If paying about twice as much for each mL is fine, it may suit you.
Which is cheaper per mL, Medicube or Rejuran?
Medicube. On 24 Oct 2026 it was $24 for 30 mL on its own site, or $0.80 per mL, and $18.90 on Amazon, or $0.63 per mL. Rejuran's Turnover Ampoule was $1.73 per mL for 30 mL and $1.44 for 50 mL on its own site. A Rejuran subscription cuts 12%, which brings the 50 mL size to $1.27 per mL.
