Which PDRN Serums Publish Their PDRN Percentage?

Which PDRN serums state how much PDRN they contain, in what unit, and what the numbers mean. Brand pages for AMIRO, EvenSkyn, Medicube, Rejuran and VT checked.

By DermaRatings Editorial TeamUpdated Facts checked 7 min read

Few do on their own sites. Of seven PDRN products we checked on 24 Oct 2026, five state an amount on the brand's site. AMIRO, EvenSkyn, Rejuran Recover and VT list a number, each in its own unit or name. Rejuran's Turnover Ampoule gives one only on Amazon. Medicube gives none. AMIRO's two pages disagree.

Key points

  • EvenSkyn states "0.2% (2,000 ppm)" PDRN3. It is the only brand we checked that gives both units.
  • AMIRO says "27% PDRN" on its kit page and "0.355% Salmon PDRN" on its refill page1,2. We cannot tell which is right.
  • Rejuran Recover lists "Hydrolyzed DNA (7,000 ppm)" and VT PDRN Reedle Shot lists "Sodium DNA(0.05ppm)"5,7.
  • Medicube lists a DNA ingredient but no amount4. Rejuran Turnover gives "0.5% concentration" on Amazon, but no amount on Rejuran's site6,15.
  • No study we found sets an effective topical PDRN percentage10.

What PDRN is, and what it is called on a label

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide. A 2023 lab paper describes it as "a mixture of deoxyribonucleotides", the units that make up DNA9. Most comes from salmon, but some brands now use plant or lab-made versions. VT says its PDRN is "sourced from Korean ginseng"7. EvenSkyn says its PDRN is "biosynthetic, not salmon-derived"3.

The word PDRN is a marketing name. On an ingredient list you will usually see one of these instead:

  • Sodium DNA. Used by Medicube and VT4,7. AMIRO's refill page says its PDRN is "known as Sodium DNA"2.
  • Hydrolyzed DNA. Used by Rejuran on both of its ampoules5,6.

So if you search an ingredient list for "PDRN" and find nothing, look for these names before you decide it is missing.

How to read the units

Brands use two units, percent and ppm (parts per million). The rule is simple:

  • 10,000 ppm = 1%
  • 1,000 ppm = 0.1%
  • 1 ppm = 0.0001%

EvenSkyn gives both, so you can check the rule: 2,000 ppm / 10,000 = 0.2%3. Rejuran Recover lists 7,000 ppm of hydrolyzed DNA5. By the same rule, 7,000 / 10,000 = 0.7% of the formula is that ingredient. Rejuran calls it hydrolyzed DNA on the list, not PDRN, so we report it the way the brand does. For its Turnover Ampoule, Rejuran's Amazon listing says "Our patented c-PDRN formula (0.5% concentration)"15. Rejuran's own product page gives no amount6.

VT lists "Sodium DNA(0.05ppm)"7. That is 0.05 / 10,000 = 0.000005%. That number is very small next to the others. We report it as written. The page does not say whether it means the PDRN raw material or the pure DNA inside it.

Why the numbers are hard to compare

A percent on a label can mean different things:

  • What is being counted. PDRN is often sold to brands as a solution. One brand may count the solution, another only the DNA in it. Labels rarely say which.
  • Which form. Salmon, plant and lab-made PDRN are not the same material3,7. Fragment length also varies. The 2026 study below tested one "medium-length" type8.
  • Kit serums vs bottles. AMIRO and EvenSkyn sell serums for micro infusion kits, used with fine needles1,3. Medicube, Rejuran and VT sell serums for daily use on intact skin4,5,7. How much reaches the skin may differ. If you are new to kits, see what micro infusion is.

So a higher number is not proof of a better serum. It is only a number the brand chose to publish.

The AMIRO conflict

AMIRO's kit page says "27% PDRN" in several places, including "27% PDRN for superior skin rejuvenation"1. Its 90-day refill serum page lists "0.355% Salmon PDRN (known as Sodium DNA)" and "Powered by 0.355% PDRN"2. The same refill page also says "PDRN concentration is 2x more than salon solution"2.

These may be two different serums, or two ways of counting. The pages do not explain. We do not pick one. If the number matters to you, ask AMIRO which figure applies to the serum you will buy. Our AMIRO PDRN micro infusion review covers the kit in more detail.

Is there an effective percentage?

No study we found sets one. We searched PubMed for PDRN with topical, cream or serum and concentration or percent on 24 Oct 202610. The 16 results were mostly about liver disease, bone or injected forms.

The closest is a 2026 paper by Ye and others8. It tested a medium-length PDRN called PDRN-850K. In the human part, the team ran a "randomized, double-blind, split-face study comparing 0.1% PDRN-850K eye cream with 0.1% retinol over 28 days"8. They report "approximately two-fold greater improvements in periocular wrinkles" than retinol8. The abstract does not give the number of people. Some authors list a biotech company as their employer8.

That study tells you 0.1% of one PDRN type was tested in an eye cream. It does not tell you 0.1% is the minimum, or that more is better. It also does not apply to other PDRN types.

What to check before you buy

  1. Is PDRN on the ingredient list? Look for Sodium DNA or Hydrolyzed DNA.
  2. Is there an amount? If not, the brand does not publish it. You can ask.
  3. What unit? Convert ppm to percent with the rule above.
  4. Do the brand's pages agree? Compare the product page with the refill or ingredient page.
  5. What are the return terms? Most require the product to be unopened (see below).

When to see a dermatologist

See a dermatologist first if you have rosacea, eczema, active acne or a skin condition under treatment. Do the same if you are allergic to fish, because many PDRN serums are salmon-based. Before using a serum with a micro infusion kit, note the FDA's advice for microneedling devices. It says not to use them with an active cold sore, infection or rash, or within 6 months of isotretinoin11. Stop and get checked if redness or swelling gets worse after 2 days, or if you see pus or new dark patches11.

PDRN serums and what they publish

Brands below are examples, in alphabetical order. We checked each product page and ingredient list on 24 Oct 2026. Amounts are copied as written. Anua's PDRN serum is also widely searched, but we did not check its page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the effective percentage of PDRN?

No study we found sets an effective topical PDRN percentage (PubMed, searched 24 Oct 2026). One 2026 trial tested an eye cream with 0.1% of one PDRN type against 0.1% retinol for 28 days. That shows one level that was tested, not a minimum or a best level. Brand claims about what a percentage does are the brands' own.

Which PDRN serum has the highest concentration?

Among the pages we checked on 24 Oct 2026, AMIRO states the highest number, 27% PDRN, on its kit page. But its refill serum page says 0.355% Salmon PDRN. We cannot tell which is right. Next come Rejuran Recover at 7,000 ppm of hydrolyzed DNA, Rejuran Turnover at 0.5% on its Amazon listing, and EvenSkyn at 0.2%. Medicube publishes no amount.

How much PDRN is needed to be effective?

We do not know, and we found no study that answers it (PubMed, searched 24 Oct 2026). Studies on skin use different PDRN types, lengths and delivery methods, so their numbers do not transfer to a serum. A higher number on a label is a brand claim. It does not prove a serum works better.

What is a good PDRN serum?

We do not rank PDRN serums on this page. What you can check is whether the brand names PDRN on the ingredient list and publishes how much it uses, in a clear unit. For how PDRN compares with other ingredients, see our guides to exosomes vs PDRN and copper peptides vs PDRN.
