What is the Glov Hair Regrowth System?

It is a stamp you press onto the scalp after you attach a serum cartridge¹. Glov calls it "micro-infusion technology" that aims to "enhance scalp health and promote natural hair growth"¹. The page calls the system "painless" and "chemical-free" and shows a quote labelled "Board Certified Dermatologist"¹. It does not link a trial of the kit¹.

What's in the box and what it costs

The current page sells three supplies on 24 Oct 2026²:

Its FAQ says "Each kit includes a one-month supply of serum"¹. It does not list each part in the box. The older page and Amazon list 4 devices and 12 serums for $149^3,6. Shipping is free over $50¹.

How to use it (per the brand)

The current page's steps are¹:

1. Start with clean, dry hair and scalp.
2. Attach the serum cartridge to the device.
3. Press the device gently onto areas with thinning hair.
4. "Use the device once every two weeks."
5. Follow with your usual hair care.

Ingredients

The current page lists the full serum¹. It is water, glycerin, tea tree leaf oil, acetyl tetrapeptide-3, copper tripeptide-1, caffeine, sodium PCA, sodium lactate, arginine, hyaluronic acid and aspartic acid. Then come PCA, biotin, glycine, alanine, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, serine, menthol and tocopherol. The rest are amino acids, rosemary and green tea leaf extracts, copper gluconate, ascorbic acid, phenylpropanol and ethylhexylglycerin¹.

Glov calls rosemary a "Natural alternative to minoxidil in promoting hair regrowth"¹. That is a brand claim, not a medical finding. Tea tree, peppermint, eucalyptus and menthol can sting some scalps. Patch test first if your skin is sensitive.

What buyers say

• Amazon: the Glov Beauty Micro Infusion Hair Renewal Kit showed 3.9 out of 5 from 169 ratings (checked 24 Oct 2026)⁶. 65% were five stars and 20% were one star⁶.
• Amazon's summary themes: quality came up in 34 mentions, 33 positive. Ease of use came up in 22, all positive. Softness came up in 15, all positive⁶. These are Amazon's counts, not ours.
• Trustpilot: Glov showed 4.4 out of 5 from 6,633 reviews (checked 24 Oct 2026)⁷. That covers the whole store, mostly face products, so it says little about this kit.
• Glov's survey: the page says 90% "felt their hair become thicker and stronger" and 92% said their scalp felt healthier¹. Its footnote says "Based on an independent consumer perception study. Results may vary"¹. No sample size is given.

How it scores

It accepts returns "even if the product is used or empty"⁴. You start through glovbeauty.com/apps/returns, then ship within 7 days, in the original packaging⁴. Free items are final sale, and shipping fees are not refunded⁴. The page also shows a "60-Day Money-Back Guarantee" banner, which refers to supplements¹.

Safety and regulatory status

We found no FDA 510(k) record for Glov when we searched openFDA on 24 Oct 2026⁸. The product page makes no FDA claim¹. It does not list who should not use the kit¹.

What research says about scalp needling

• A 2023 review of scalp micro infusion found the literature "is limited to a few case reports". It said "Further studies are needed"⁹.
• A 2022 systematic review covered 22 studies with 1,127 people. Microneedling improved hair as an add-on to treatments such as minoxidil. The needles were 0.50 to 2.50 mm, and the authors called the data "of relatively low quality"¹⁰.
• A 2025 meta-analysis of 12 trials with 631 people found microneedling plus minoxidil raised hair counts more than minoxidil alone. Results varied a lot between trials¹¹.
• None of these studies tests the Glov kit or a 0.25 mm home stamp.
